The Conference

Proposals for single papers and themeatic panels in all areas of poverty research are welcome, but special attention will be given to those concerned with the 2017 focus theme of religion and poverty.

The conference is open to all disciplines, approaches, methods and concepts within the field of poverty research. papers from an inter-, trans- or multidisciplinary background are particularily welcome.

Special Issue in Palgrave Communications on Religion and Poverty

The conference organisers will edit a thematic collection associated to the conference in a special issue in Palvgrave Communications on religion and poverty. Palgrave Communications is an interdisiciplinary, double-blind peer reviewed and fully open access journal in the humaities and social sciences, published bt Palgrave Macmillan. Collection expevted to be publishes in Mid 2018 and submissions are possible on an ongoing basis, with deadline for  submissions of full papers is 30 September 2017.
