The MZES is an interdisciplinary research institute of the University of Mannheim dedicated to comparative European social research and the analysis of European integration processes.

Fellow position in social sciences with a focus on methods in political science

This vacancy is in the Centre’s Data and Methods Unit. The responsibilities include the initiation of own research projects and consulting services as well as support for MZES research projects. Services in the field of research on parties and elections in Europe are particularly welcome. The MZES will provide an annual budget for travel and research assistants. Fellowship in the MZES Research Department A »European Societies and their Integration«

The Centre seeks to recruit an outstanding social scientist as a Research Fellow to work in Research Department A »European Societies and their Integration«. Successful candidates are expected to publish in international academic journals. They should develop and direct projects in one of the department’s three research areas and attract research grants.
