Position as Professor of Public Policy/ Social Policy in Berlin

The recruitment committee will consider profiles combining a disciplinary background in the social sciences (e.g. political science, sociology, economics) with expertise in comparative social policy analysis. We are open to various areas of specialization, such as labour and employment policies, pension, health, education, migration, mobility, and family policy, social inequality, and adjacent areas such as corporate social responsibility. The incumbent is expected to teach the core course “The Policy Process” and other courses with a focus on public policy in the School´s programmes, conduct research, contribute to public debates on public policy, and reach out to decision-makers in relevant fields. The position is full-time, for four (professorship) or six years (assistant professorship), and may be extended. The expected start date is 1 September 2017.
