The research project’s main aim is to shed more light on how current research practices potentially threaten the validity and reliability of results published in sociological and political science journals, focusing in particular on cross-national survey research. The project has four sub-studies: 1) quality of reporting, 2) conceptual validity, 3) use and misuse of multilevel modeling, 4) null-hypothesis statistical testing.
